Drill Rig Operators Program
Midwest Caissons has partnered up with other members of the ADSC in a collaborative effort to increase the level of safety in our industry by aligning with N.A.I.T in an effort to develop an industry first, the drill rig operator program. The drill rig operator program aims at increasing the knowledge, skills and abilities of existing and future drill rig operators. Midwest Caissons believes that investing our resources into this program will help to better the industry as a whole for the many years to come.
Midwest Caissons is committed to a strong safety program that protects its staff, its property and the public from accidents by meeting or exceeding Alberta OH&S legislation.
Employees at every level, including management are responsible and accountable for the company’s overall safety initiatives. Complete and active participation by everyone, every day, in every job is necessary for the safety excellence the company expects. The management supports the coordination and cooperation of all workers concerning safety on the job site including the physical, psychological and social well-being of employees.
The management encourages all employees to participate in the program and provides proper equipment, training and procedures. Supervisors and employees are responsible for following all procedures, working safely and wherever possible, improving safety measures.

•Report any Identified hazards
•Observe all site safety rules and legislation
