High Risk location and severe environmental concerns. The pile placement was approx 20’ from the riverbank and ten feet below water level in the heart of the river. We strategized with the general contractor and various sub trades in order to come up with a safe solution for access and installation.
Temporary outer casings were installed to retain the flow of river water into the drill location. Rip-rap was then placed up to the temporary casing and the safe working platform was established. The drill rig tracked onto the platform and the drill crew was able to successfully complete the project.
